About Flag of Bahrain

The red band on the right and the white band on the left of Bahrain’s national flag are divided by a zigzag consisting of five white triangles pointing to the right side of the flag. It is also thought that these five triangles stand for the five pillars of Islam.

The Kharijite branch of Islam is said to be represented by the colour red.

The Qatari flag and the flag of Bahrain are very similar.
