Shri Ashok Gehlot, the state’s chief minister, has made historic announcements in new districts. because no state in India’s history has ever simultaneously proclaimed that many districts. The number has increased to 50 with the creation of 19 additional districts in Rajasthan. Two districts in Rajasthan are also split into two sections. Jodhpur district is separated into Jodhpur East and Jodhpur West and Jaipur district is divided into Jaipur North and Jaipur South.
Rajasthan became the third largest state on the basis of number of districts.
Rajasthan is now the third-largest state in terms of the number of districts. Rajasthan is only above you by Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. There are 52 districts in Madhya Pradesh and 75 in Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, Rajasthan has 50 districts.
